Employment & Internships

Throughout the year, Friends of Rogers offers employment opportunities to those interested in an Environmental Education or Non-Profit career.

Naturalist Intern (Paid): Would You Like To Explore An Environmental Education Career? Friends of Rogers seeks qualified and interested candidates to participate in the Naturalist Internship Program. Interns learn what it’s like to be an environmental educator, participating in training sessions, teaching nature classes, working on projects, and assisting with general operations. Interns receive a weekly stipend and are eligible for subsidized housing.

Development Intern (Unpaid): Friends of Rogers strives to increase private foundation, individual donor, and corporate support. Development Interns help us research and cultivate supporters, manage the donor database, track and evaluate fundraising efforts, and organize and promote events. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and motivated individual to learn about environmental education and develop non-profit skills.
