The Visitors Center also offers a few interactive hands on exhibits, a library, and an area to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery. Upstairs of the Visitors Center, we offer bird and mammal displays, educational exhibits, F.O.R bookstore and gift shop and so much more. While in the Visitors Center listen for wildlife sounds that are amplified through our indoor/outdoor sound system.

Trails

All of the trails are open from dawn until dusk.
Remember, please do not litter.

With approximately 600 acres, a great way to spend some time outside is by hiking the many trails at the Rogers Center. Two miles of trails are located near the Visitors Center; Channels Trail that surrounds the Channels Marsh and the Farm Tower Trail, located across the street. The Farm Tower Trail leads you to a lookout tower where you can overlook Chenango Valley. Cush Hill Trail is located on Bingham Road, off of Route 80. Adams Farm Trail, approximately 0.7 miles down the road, has a catch and release fishing area. The trails are open all year round. Trail maps are located in various kiosks near the trails, or in the bookstore of the Visitors Center.

Trout Ponds
Trout Ponds

The Rogers Center Trout Ponds are located to the left of the Visitors Center parking lot. Observe and feed brook and rainbow trout, donated by the Aquaculture Center at Morrisville State College. There are two fish feeders located by the ponds that provide you with a handful of food for a quarter. Rogers also offers 16 oz fish food containers for sale in the bookstore.
*The food is for fish only, and it is important to never feed fish food, or any food to
wildlife.*

Bird Cabin

This building displays a variety of birds of New York. With a wood stove inside, it is a great place to hold children programs during the winter months.
