Naturalist Internships: Friends of Rogers seeks qualified and interested candidates to participate in the Naturalist Internship Program. Interns learn what it’s like to be an environmental educator, participating in training sessions, teaching nature classes, working on projects, and assist with Rogers Center’s general operation. Interns receive a weekly stipend with housing options. Complete and submit a Naturalist Intern Application, along with your resume, to Friends of Rogers for consideration.

Development Internships: Friends of Rogers is striving to increase private foundation, individual donor, and corporate support. To achieve this, we are seeking Development Interns who will work to research and cultivate supporters, manage the donor database, track and evaluate fundraising efforts, and organize and promote events. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual to learn about environmental education and ultimately develop skills in non-profit advancement work. Time commitment: Minimum of 10 hours per week; minimum 3 month commitment, with 6 months desirable. Compensation: This is an unpaid position. There is opportunity for school credit if allowed by the college/university of applicant. Position offers an excellent opportunity to work on substantive projects and can result in a favorable reference.
