Three Things Thursday: Chemical Ecology - the Interface Between Insects & Plants

Our popular summer lecture series returns. As we say, any day you learn something new is a good day, so learning three new things has got to be awesome. Tonight’s presenter is Dr. Robert Raguso of the Raguso Lab at Cornell. Chemical ecology integrates chemistry and biology, examining the chemical interactions between organisms and their environment. It’s a whole other language of the natural world that few of us consider beyond pheromones. Our senses are blind to most of these interactions, and Dr. Raguso will help lift the veil so you can discover some of the secret exchanges that occur around us every single day. Call or email to register.
