Get Outdoors & Get Together Day at Rogers Center Sat 6/11/22 10 am -2 pm

The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center invite you to explore outdoor recreation and even learn a new outdoor skill!  Part of New York State’s Outdoor Day celebration, activities will include catch & release fishing, pond ecology – see what lives in our pond water, kayak and canoe demonstrations – learn to paddle for all ages, DEC Forester, Greg Owens will lead a tree identification hike at 10 am, Bullthistle Hiking Club will lead a hike at noon, food for sale benefits Friends of Rogers, Broome Tioga Developmental Disabilities will be on site for outreach and an art project and you can tour the new exhibits in the Visitor Center. It’s a great day to get outdoors and enjoy Rogers Center!
