Friends of Rogers (FOR) is a nonprofit organization composed of dedicated supporters of the Rogers Environmental Education Center. Rogers Center was a fully funded, state-operated education center from the late 1960s to 2010. Friends of Rogers has been in charge of running the educational programing, camps and events since 2011 with financial support of members, foundations, donations and volunteers.

The Visitor Center is now OPEN Wednesdays through Saturdays 10 am-4 pm, and Sundays 12-4 pm. Restrooms are open 7 am -7 pm daily and the trails are open daily dawn to dusk.


Trails
Go for a walk
Rogers Center’s trails are open every day year-round from dawn to dusk. Trail maps are located in the Visitor Center and at trailhead kiosks. There are more than six miles of trails winding through 600 acres for you to hike, snowshoe, or ski.

Bird Cabin is available to be opened by appointment and is also open any time the Open flag is out.

Follow NY-13 S to New Woodstock, turn left onto NY-80 E
Stay on NY-80 E, Rogers Center will be on the left 3 miles after Smyrna
Binghamton

Continue on County Rd 23 until it ends and then turn left onto NY-80 W
