Friends of Rogers (FOR) is a nonprofit organization composed of dedicated supporters of the Rogers Environmental Education Center. Rogers Center was a fully funded, state-operated education center from the late 1960s to 2010. Friends of Rogers has been in charge of running the educational programing, camps and events since 2011 with financial support of members, foundations, donations and volunteers.

Visitor Center

Interactive Displays, Exhibits, & our Store

The Visitor Center is Temporarily Closed in 2020-Fall of 2021. The building is under construction to for ADA updates and we are taking this time to also update the Exhibits. We hope to unveil the new Visitor Center in Fall 2021. For now, the Bird Cabin is the temporary location of the Store and offices. Come inside and check out the exhibits, support Rogers while getting a gift loved ones or yourself.

Trails

Take a walk

Rogers Center’s trails are open every day year-round from dawn to dusk. Trail maps are located in the Visitor Center and at trailhead kiosks. There are more than six miles of trails winding through 600 acres for you to hike, snowshoe, or ski.

Bear right to continue on NY-92 E to Cazenovia

In Cazenovia, turn left onto NY-20 E and take the first right onto NY-13 S

Follow NY-13 S to New Woodstock, turn left onto NY-80 E

Stay on NY-80 E, Rogers Center will be on the left 3 miles after Smyrna

Binghamton

Take NY-12 N to North Norwich and make a slight left onto County Rd 23

Continue on County Rd 23 until it ends and then turn left onto NY-80 W

Rogers Center will be on the left, less than 1/2 mile after turning

Rochester

Take the exit from I-690 E for I-81 S in Syracuse

Follow I-81 S to exit 14 for NY-80 E in Tully

Continue on NY-80 E, Rogers Center will be on the left 3 miles after Smyrna

Take exit 13 from I-88 W for NY-205 N in Oneonta

In Morris, continue on to County Rd 13
