School Programs

Rogers Center is home to the longest standing environmental education facilities and programming in the state. We currently offer 18 different programs to our local school systems, ranging from Wildlife Ecology and Nature Journaling, to Tracks & Traces and Furs & Skulls. For only $5 per student per program, we believe it is our mission to bring high quality environmental education to the region. Our programs are aligned with NYS teaching standards, NGSS and the Common Core, and are rooted in the exploration and appreciation of the outdoors. Early Childhood Education

Nature’s Nursery introduces young children to the joys of being outdoors in nature. This once-a-week program for 2- to 5-year-olds meets Wednesdays at 8:15 AM. Through stories, songs, and outdoor play, children explore learning in its most elemental form. We run three sessions each year: Fall, Winter and Spring. Click the button to learn more.

Homeschool, Scouts, etc.

If you are a youth leader, whether homeschoolers, scouts, or other organization, we are happy to work with you to bring nature education to your group. Homeschool groups can choose from our school program offerings, while scouts can come to us to work on a variety of badges. Click below for more information.
