Summer Adventure Camps

Each of our camps has a theme and each day’s activities are tied in to those themes. We strive to be outdoors, on the trails and in the woods, every single day, with minimal time spent indoors.

Rainy days don’t keep us down - as long as it’s not life-threatening, we will still go out in the rain. Puddle-stomping is a revered summer tradition!

Camp registration opens for members December 15 - just in time for the gift-giving season. Registration opens to the general public March 1.

Rogers’ Summer Adventure Camps highlight play and outdoor exploration. Our goal is to help children develop their of love for nature and become comfortable being outdoors. Imagination is a huge part of our recipe in creating a memorable summer camp experience.

Joys of Summer I: July 8-12

Every day is a new adventure. One day teams compete in the Amazing Nature Race. On another day, we spend our time exploring ancient skills. A day spent studying the river and/or ponds is guaranteed to get us wet! What other adventures await you? Sessions for 4-6 year olds and 7-11 year olds.

Amazing Adventures: July 15-18

Our “caveman camp” celebrates the primitive skills our ancient ancestors mastered for their survival. Learn how to follow a trail, use a slingshot, create “cave art” and more. Campers are sorted into clans and each clan selects a territory and a specialty skill; at the end of the week, the Clans gather to trade goods and enjoy a campfire. 7-11 year olds.

Call of the Wild: July 22-26

After receiving an invitation and ticket via Owl Post, campers arrive at Rogers Magical Woodland ready for a week of fantastical fun. The week begins with sorting into one of four “houses,” and the creation of a wand. From there, each day campers participate in lessons in Herbology, Potions, and more. 7-11 year olds.

Magical Woodland: July 29-Aug. 2

Joys of Summer II: Aug. 5-9

This camp celebrates all the wonders of summer that make it special in the eyes of a child: catching insects, playing in water, building forts, flying kites, and getting muddy. 4-6 year olds.

Older campers are invited to spend a week doing “deep dives” into the many branches of natural history. Each day we study a different “-ology”: ornithology (birds), entomology (insects), dendrology (trees), and more. Campers choose a sit spot, which they visit each day for half an hour and record their observations in their nature journals. 12-15 year olds.

Curious Naturalists: Aug. 5-9
