School Programs
Rogers Center is home to the longest standing environmental education facilities and programming in the state. We currently offer 18 different programs to our local school systems, ranging from Wildlife Ecology and Nature Journaling, to Tracks & Traces and Furs & Skulls. For only $5 per student per program, we believe it is our mission to bring high quality environmental education to the region. Our programs are aligned with NYS teaching standards, NGSS and the Common Core, and are rooted in the exploration and appreciation of the outdoors. Please reach out to schedule your next field trip today!
Early Childhood Education
Bring your little ones out Wednesday mornings for our weekly Storytime & Hike. Parents and children stay for this hour-long program with Jenni Larchar. Jenni opens each program with child-friendly songs, shares a story or two, and then they all go out for an exploration along the trails.
Homeschool, Scouts, etc.
If you are a youth leader, whether homeschoolers, scouts, or other organization, we are happy to work with you to bring nature education to your group. Homeschool groups can choose from our school program offerings, while scouts can come to us to work on a variety of badges. Click below for more information.
